Give a child the opportunity for a family and a future.
Every child in our world is precious in God’s sight.
What does it mean to adopt a child from another country?
Adopting a child from another country is known as international or intercountry adoption. This is the adoption of children from outside the United States. Since 1982, Bethany has united thousands of international children with loving forever families, a testament to our expertise, integrity, and high quality of service. Our staff understands the unique requirements of each international adoption program we offer. Bethany is fully accredited through the Hague Convention, which provides guidelines for international adoption to protect the best interests of adopted children.
Every child in our world is precious in God’s sight. At Bethany, we are called to address the global orphan crisis. More than 160 million children have lost one or both parents to AIDS, disease, abandonment, poverty, war, or other causes. Many children are growing up without the love of a permanent family. Bethany invites you to discover the blessings of international adoption – make the journey of a lifetime to bring a lifetime of love to a child in need.
There are many kinds of adoption.
Many of the children who are waiting to be adopted have special needs. Could your family be right for special needs adoption? Consider giving a child who is older, has certain impairments, or medical needs a loving family.
