We are writing to let you know about an important change to one of our Bethany ministries.

For many years, Bethany has offered an infertility and pregnancy loss ministry with a newsletter called Stepping Stones. Our purpose was to provide distinctively Christian information and support around infertility and pregnancy loss.

The director of this ministry retired several years ago, and since then we have maintained a blog, discussion forums, and an eNewsletter on this important topic. In recent years, more resources about infertility and pregnancy loss have become available in print and online. Several other Christian and national organizations that focus exclusively on infertility and pregnancy loss offer more developed programs—including online and in-person community groups (See list and links below).

For these reasons, we have made the difficult decision to formally end Bethany’s infertility and pregnancy loss ministry. As we continue to serve families who may be walking these personal and painful roads, we will refer them to existing organizations we trust can better meet their needs in this area.

Bethany’s vision, as always, has been that every child would have a loving family. To that end, we educate, train, equip, and strengthen families to be the answer for vulnerable children across the U.S. and in more than 15 countries. We value the Bethany families who open their hearts and homes to children—we could not do this work without them. And we honor the many roads that lead them to Bethany.

It has been a privilege to serve you. We invite you to explore the sites listed below for additional resources, and we trust you will find even greater community, support, and understanding for your infertility or pregnancy loss journey.

Thank you for understanding.
