We hope you are planning to join us for Bethany's 6th Annual "Always Serving Kids" Dinner & Dessert Gala, a fundraising event for our expectant parent advocacy program! If you have attended this before, you know it’s a blast! But if you’ve never been to a Bethany Gala, you may have questions. Please know that we can accommodate all food restrictions for both the dinner & desserts, so please let us know how we can best serve you. We'd hate for you to miss it because you’re not sure what to wear... so we’ve got all your answers right here.Who can come to this event?
The Gala is a great event for anyone interested in our ministry who wants to be a radical advocate for children. But anyone is welcome! We encourage you to invite your friends and family for this fun and exciting event.
How much does it cost?
There is no cost to attend the event, but it is a fundraiser where donations come in through the live dessert auction. A light dinner will be provided, and there will be a cash bar.
How does seating work?
Tables seat eight. You can host a table and fill it, or we can put individuals/couples or half-tables together to form tables of eight.
How does the live dessert auction work?
Each couple/person initially puts in their anonymous top bids. The bids are added up for a total for the whole table, which is what your table has to bid. Tables then bid on desserts, and they can go anywhere from $500–$2,000 or MORE!
What do I wear?
There are no specific attire requirements for our Gala. We would encourage you to wear something you’re comfortable in. The majority of people wear cocktail attire or something you might wear to a wedding.
What is the timeline for the evening?
Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
5:30–6:30 p.m.: Cocktail hour with preview of desserts & buffet dinner
6:30–8:00 p.m.: Program and live dessert auction
