If we are the right family for your child, I can’t wait to meet you. We already think so highly of you. You are doing the most selfless thing any parent could do. Hello! Thank you for considering adoption- it's a brave choice. We wish you a journey full of comfort, hope and encouragement. We recognize that whatever situation you are in, you have difficult choices ahead of you. No matter what you decide, we hope you feel loved and supported. Our goal for this profile is that you get a sense of who we are and the type of family we would provide for your child. Thank you for taking the time to look at us as potential adoptive parents. The journey that has lead us to adoption has been a difficult one. We have had two babies, each died within hours of being born. We didn't know it at the time, but in-depth testing revealed a genetic disorder, meaning the same thing could happen if we tried again. We decided we didn't want to take the chance and opted to pursue adoption instead. We adopted a baby in 2019 and it has been an amazing experience. Our son is 4 now and we are excited to add another baby to our family. We can't wait to see what God has for us in the future. -Mike & Faith

Hello, we are Sara and Carlos Vera and are extremely excited to start our family through adoption! We didn’t know when we would adopt, but it has been on our hearts for a long time and we have peace in knowing that God's timing is perfect. We try to put ourselves in your shoes and in doing so we know that you are a very strong, kind and loving person. We are so thankful for your brave heart and want to help you feel comfortable through this difficult process. We pray that God grants you the wisdom to make the right decisions for you and your baby. Here is a small window into our lives! Carlos is the true middle child between his two older brothers and two younger sisters. 3 of his siblings are married with kids so we have 7 nieces and nephews ranging from 1 to 17 years old. Carlos’s parents make everyone who comes into their life and home feel like family. Most Sunday afternoons Carlos’ parents will make food for family and friends and we will talk, play games, listen to music, and have fun together. They also have some pony’s, cows, goats, and chickens on their 10 acre property that the kids love. Carlos and his immediate family speak Spanish fluently because they are from Mexico. They are always helping to teach the kids and anyone who wants to learn as much of the language as possible. Carlos is one of the owners of his family business as his main job, which is a Mexican restaurant so his family is very close. The restaurant hours are long, but he only works there 2 to 4 days a week and can come home for a couple hours on his break. He is an insurance agent as his second job and he can do it from home, which we love. We are so thankful for Carlos’ flexible work schedule because it allows us to have a spontaneous life! Sara has 2 siblings, one of them is her twin brother who lives in California with his wife and we visit with them a couple times a year. The other is a younger sister who is engaged to be married. Sara’s side of the family are excited to be first time uncles, aunts, grandparents, and great grandparents! Most weeks we will make time to share a meal with Sara’s family and afterwards talk, laugh, play games, or take walks together. Sara’s parents have a great neighborhood to walk in, a large backyard, and a finished basement with a pool table, dart board, and plenty of space for activities. She talks to her parents most days and they are very supportive, loving, and fun people to be around. Sara is very creative and she loves to use that passion to help others and bring things to life. We are very blessed that Carlos’s business is successful enough that Sara does not have to work and is able to slow down and focus on family. She has also been taking her health more seriously to try to prepare her body to be the best mother she can be. Sara wants to be a stay at home mom as soon as possible! We want you to know that we are fully prepared to love your child unconditionally and support them 100%. We will do everything we can to protect their body, mind, and heart in any and all situations. Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”

We’ve been trying to have children of our own for the last six years. We've gone through fertility treatments and consulted with a number of doctors but haven’t been successful. We have always been very interested in adoption. In fact, this is something we discussed even before getting married. For this reason, we feel very fortunate that you are checking our website and considering us as an option. We dream about being parents and having children to raise in a loving home! We have so much love to share with any child we're fortunate enough to be able to adopt.

This year marks 15 years together and 11 years married for us. While starting the family that we have always wanted hasn’t gone as expected, we aren’t giving up. Instead, we are taking a different path and are hoping to add to our family via adoption. We look forward to seeing where this new path leads and are excited at the possibility that it will lead to you.

Dear Birthparent(s), Hello! We are extremely grateful that you are taking the time to look at our profile. Both of us understand that the decision you are making is a very difficult one. It takes strength, courage, and a lot of love to consider the path of adoption for your child. We are praying for you and the decision you have ahead of you. Our names are Aaron and Alison and we live in Virginia. We were married in 2007 after meeting in college serving in a local youth ministry. It was the classic country boy meets city girl story. Although from different backgrounds, we both value our faith and our families. After experiencing infertility for 7 years, we were unexpectedly blessed with our son, Elijah. After Eli was born in 2018, we knew right away that our family was not complete. We feel that adoption is a beautiful picture of God's love for us, so we want to pursue this option as we continue to grow our family. We have a lot of love to give and are excited about opening our home and hearts to a little one.

Hello! Thank you for taking time to get to know our family in this brief profile. We (Joe and Emily) have such a great degree of respect and admiration for the choice you are making out of love for your child, and we pray God extends His peace to you every step of your journey. We have chosen adoption to grow our family, because we believe God gave us both this desire even before we were together, and has grown that desire in us in the 10+ years we have been married. We have loved the years we have spent building a strong, healthy, loving relationship together, and look forward to expanding that relationship to include our child.

Finding peace through open adoption
“Bethany made my adoption journey the best choice for me and those I care for. Three different families have become one because of the love and respect that we share—and I’ve found my place as a birth mom in each one of them.”
- Tamara
"When I was pregnant and pursuing an adoption plan, people told me I needed to ask forgiveness for “abandoning my child.” They wanted me to feel ashamed, but Bethany helped take the sting out of their words by reassuring me I had no reason to feel shame. Now my vision is to keep telling this story so other birth moms know they’re not alone.”
- Gloria
“Ten years ago, I was pregnant for the first time, and I was in jail. Making an adoption plan for my son didn’t mean I loved him any less; I just didn’t want my child to end up in the system. My life circumstances wouldn’t mean a life sentence for him.”
- Tamara
"When I found out I was pregnant with twins at age 18, I didn’t know where to turn. I thought, ‘How am I going to become the mom I want to be?’ Bethany helped provide care for my boys while I found a stable job. Today, my boys are thriving in my home.”
- Brijon
“Today, I am substance-free. I’m married with two biological children and two stepchildren. And I still have thoughts and emotions to process about that difficult time in my life, including my decision to make an adoption plan. That’s an experience most people just don’t understand."
- Gloria
