What We Do in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
Bethany’s ADOPTS program addresses the impact of traumatic experiences on children prior to adoption. Our therapists nurture children and their parents with support, education and caring intervention to help each family member thrive—not just survive.
There is a growing need for families willing to open their hearts and homes to children and teenagers who have been removed from their families because of neglect or abuse. These children need a loving family who will walk with them during a time of crisis and welcome them unconditionally into a caring home. The highest-priority need is for foster homes for sibling groups and children from minority groups.
If your family is going through a challenging time, Bethany’s family counseling services are available to help you find the support you need. Our dedicated Christian counselors are ready to help your family work toward healing, growth and well-being.
Children in foster care have faced hardship and pain during their lives. When returning to their biological family is not an option, they need a safe place to call home, with a family to provide them with the love and care. There are more than 100,000 children in foster care who are available for adoption and they are waiting for a family like yours.
We are here for you. The choices that you make will be life-changing and we are here to help support you. You are not alone.
